Mandarmani Beach Tourist place in West Bengal
Mandarmani Beach
Mandarmani Beach is among the popular attractions of the coastal town, which extends up to 13 km. The beach is counted among the longest motorable beaches in India.
Initially, after its discovery, this beach was named Mandarboni and also Madar Mani. But with time it came to be known as Mandarmani.
It is almost 180 Km from Kolkata Airport on the Kolkata - Digha route. Positioned at a drive of 3 hours from Kolkata, the location is frequented by tourists to view beautiful sights of sunset and sunrise. Red crabs crawling around the 13 Km long beach is a special attraction of Mandarmani.
Mandarmani is a seaside resort village in East Midnapore district and at the northern end of the Bay of Bengal. It is one of the large and fast developing seaside resort village of West Bengal.
This area has relatively low waves than nearer tourist beach of Digha.
From my opinion it is much better to start your enjoyment at Mandarmani beach to roll on the sand and listen to the waves crashing upon the shore, which will surely refresh your body and mind. Relax, swim,Ride and enjoy every moment of your stay at the beach.
Most Wonderful thing about this beach is to roam around the beach and one must not forget to watch the sunrise and sunset.
The beach is just an amazing place to be, just listening to the sound of the waves, feeling the cool breeze across my face and my feet emerged into the sand makes me feel so relaxed, peaceful and completely free as though, I am in a magical place so calm and beautiful.
This beach is not well connected by each and every means of transport......No proper Public transport is available so it's better that People hire their own Private means of Travel.
But one thing everyone must keep in their mind that, there are some safety issues as the beach is in developing Condition. Digha and mandarmani is 1 hour apart from each other so it is your choice where you would like to Go. You can easily roam both beach on the same day.
At one beach u will see sunrise and at the other you will see sunset.
